SHRIEKWING
Phase 1
As the first boss of the raid Shriekwing should provide a decent challenge to the raid, for there are plenty of positioning requirements to keep in mind. This two phase fight has a few abilities to
watch out for, so let us look at the abilities that are present in both phases first.
Earsplitting Shriek can and should be line of sighted behind one of the pillars present in the boss arena to avoid the raid-wide damage. In addition, once the Shriek ends players will drop pools on the ground which are best overlapped ontop of eachother.
Players marked with Echolocation need to make sure they move away from others, as the ability does damage to everyone within 5 yards of the marked player. Upon being hit the player leaves a sanguine pool on the floor, so it is best to move to the edges of the arena to not leave these pools in inconvenient spots.
Wave of Blood, an unavoidable AoE ability to keep in mind. Healers will need to prepare for this ability, depending on how often the boss casts it.
Blind Swipe is a swipe ability which the target & direction seem to be random, so melee have to pay attention when the ability is being cast to avoid the area it is affecting.
Echoing Sonar will send out small sound waves in all directions, which can bounce off of walls and pillars. Any player hit by these will be horrified for 2 seconds and receive the Echolocation debuff. Players hit by these will only have 4 seconds to move away from other players, instead of 6 seconds. Avoid these as much as possible otherwise the room fills up fast with Sanguine Ichor puddles very quickly.
Tanks will need to keep in mind the heavy healing received reduction that Exsanguinating Bite leaves on them.
Phase 2
Once Shriekwing reaches 100 energy Phase 2 begins. She will jump into the middle of the arena and surround herself with Blood Shroud. While affected by Blood Shroud, anyone who comes into melee range of Shriekwing will be instantly killed.
On top of avoiding the boss who will creep around the room, we will have to avoid the sound waves caused by Echoing Sonar, on top of having to line of sight Earsplitting Shrieks. Ranged will still be able to attack the boss, while melee and the tanks have to stay out of range until Shriekwing’s energy drops to 0, which is when phase one will repeat itself.

Heroic Difficulty
The boss will periodically face a random player and cast Echoing Screech. This will send out Echoing Sonar waves in front of her that need to be avoided in Phase 1.
Mythic Difficulty
The Blood Lantern comes into play on Mythic. The lantern will need to be picked up and kept with the group, as it is the only way to reveal Shriekwing’s Echoing Sonar & Echoing Screech waves to be able to avoid them.
Echoing Sonar & Echoing Screech abilities are hidden unless affected by the glow of the lantern.
If you are hit by Descent (Echolocation and/or Sonar waves) while holding the lantern, it will smash, dealing massive damage and fearing the entire raid will spawning Ravenous Horror adds that will quickly wipe us
