CHAMPION OF THE LIGHT
Targets: Frida Ironbellows (BOSS), Darkforged Crusader and Anointed Disciple.
Played Faction: Horde.
Frida Ironbellows
- Sacred Blade: Melee attacks apply stacking Holy damage DoT on active tank. Kite during cast to remove stacks.
- Zealotry: Stacking buff applied on the boss from interaction with her Seal abilities. Zealotry grants 2% Holy damage increase per stack permanently.
- Wave of Light: Long cast unleashes a slow moving wave of Holy energy directly for the nearest pack of Dark Iron Dwarf adds. AVOID the Wave and try to kite adds out of it or they will gain a HoT on them which can be DISPELLED. If no adds are present to target, the wave will target a random raid member.
- Avenging Wrath: Upon hitting 30% Health, the boss will buff herself with this ability until she has been defeated. Avenging Wrath increases all damage done by the boss by 30%.
Darkforged Crusader
- Blinding Faith: Long cast that disorients any raid member facing the Crusader upon completion of the cast. FACE AWAY WHEN THIS IS BEING CAST.
- Consecration: The Crusader drops a large zone of Holy AoE on the ground for a long period of time. Reduces damage taken by 50% on mobs standing in it and deals damage to raid members within it. AVOID.
Anointed Disciple
- Divine Burst: Minor holy damage cast on active tank. Interruptible, but do not interrupt this cast as its a waste.
- Penance: Channeled 2% heal every 1 sec for 5 sec on an ally. Holy damage on a raid member instead. INTERRUPT THIS IF HEALING.
- Heal: Moderate heal on a friendly target, including the boss. PRIORITY INTERRUPT.
POSITIONING
SEAL OF RETRIBUTION (Phase 1)
- The boss begins the encounter with this aura.
- The aura applies a 15% damage done and healing done increase to any adds close to the boss.
- The aura grants the boss 20 stacks of Zealotry any time one of the adds die while this Seal is active.
- At 100 energy, the boss will release the energy of this Seal, buffing a nearby, increasing their damage by 200% and their healing by 150%.
- She will regain this Seal upon ending her next Seal phase. This is repeatable.
Strategy:
- Main tank picks up boss, off-tank picks up adds.
- Boss and adds are separated. In this phase ADDS ARE NOT DAMAGED, Disciples are INTERRUPTED BY RANGED.
- All DPS burn and nuke boss.
- Avoid being disoriented by Crusader’s Blinding Faith ability.
- Avoid Wave of Light and dispell/purge any adds hit by it.
- Once boss hits 100 energy and releases seal, ALL DPS MUST SWITCH TO BUFFED ADD AND BURN IT and the next phase begins.
SEAL OF RECKONING (Phase 2)
- The boss will gain this Seal as soon as she has hit 100 energy on her previous and released its energy.
- The aura grants the boss stacks of Zealotry any time she receives an attack from players. Her active tank does not generate stacks on her while under the effects of Sacred Blade.
- The boss will periodically strike random raid members with moderate Holy damage.
- Upon reaching 100 energy, the boss will release the Seal’s energy and cause a raid-wide explosion for massive amounts of Holy damage – INCREASED BY ZEALOTRY STACKS.
Strategy:
- Adds and boss remain separated as in Phase 1. They must never be stacked.
- The boss can NEVER BE DAMAGED BY ANY SOURCE in this phase as she gains stacks of Zealotry from each attack, increasing her overall damage.
- In this phase, all DPS must burn the adds and ignore boss.
- Avoid being disoriented by Crusader’s Blinding Faith ability.
- Avoid Wave of Light and dispell/purge any adds hit by it.
- Once boss hits 100 energy, all raid must STACK AND POP DEFENSIVES for Reckoning explosion. The Seal of Retribution will reapply itself and Phase 1 begins again.

HEROIC CHANGES
- The boss will periodically apply Divine Protection on random mobs, granting them 99% damage reduction and immunity to interrupts.
MYTHIC CHANGES
- Prayer for the Fallen: All living or dead adds gain a new ability. The Crusaders gain Divine Mallet and the Disciples gain Angelic Renewal.
- Divine Mallet: All living and/or dead Crusaders will spawn spinning hammers from their current or corpse location, flying out. Must be avoided and will need to die in an ideal location spawn hammers away.
- Angelic Renewal: All living and/or dead Disciples will began casting a heal onto the boss. All renewals must be interrupted or the boss is healed to full.

Bumping as we may give a crack at this on Mythic very soon, provided we have time left on a Sunday raid without taking too much time away from Heroic progression.
Be prepared in case we do. It’s a very easy Mythic boss.
