SV/BM , Hunter , Progress Team – Withdrawn

What sort of membership are you applying for?

  • Progress
  • What characters are you applying with? Please link from armory, wowprogress or some other site, in order of importance to you. Include also your main character if you are applying with an alt.

  • Hunter (SV/BM) , I have every other Mdps too but pref (Havoc/WW/Enhance/DK)

  • Main Character Link

  • First Alt Character Link

  • Second Alt Character Link

  • Why did you choose the class/spec you’re applying with and what kinds of content have you played on it so far? What experience you have playing other specs of your class?

  • I have played mythic on all specs of my class, i chose the class primarily for arenas and M+ as the reason. i have achieved my first 2k last season on MM hunt. and i have raided above mentioned raid bosses on my hunter (except the TOS raid tier where i was maining a DK.) Also wanted to add i have transfered the hunter to this realm already, https://worldofwarcraft.com/en-gb/character/draenor/M%C3%A0h%C3%A1
  • Tell us about your history in WoW. Previous realms, guilds, best achievements, favourite mounts and anything else you want to add.

  • My highest achievement in raiding scene was joining in Misantrope in WOTLK for the TOC tier raid (back then they were world 129th guild) even though as a substitute. after that i was slacked and started playing wow in a relaxed manner. In PVP i refrained from it several times and last time i actually tried to push and i hit 2k finally. My biggest problem is that i never stick to a class (even for a single tier) and i keep bouncing around, so i want to rectify that this time and in order to achieve my goal , ie , cutting edge (pve) and 2200cr+ duelist (pvp).
  • Who are you outside WoW? Please make sure to include things like the name your friends call you, your age, where do you live, what do you do when not playing WoW, family situation and anything else you’d like to add here that would affect your ability to play with Weekend Warriors in the coming months.

  • I am a 30yr old ,not married but in a relationship, working in a small steel fabrication company. My friends call me either Maha or ABG and i live in Dubai but i am from India but been in dubai my whole life. I follow Manchester United for several years, so i wouldn't like to miss their game, but i have made arrangements to record if any games do come in the weekend. My biggest problem now would be i will be missing the first week of raid as il be in India to attend my friends wedding and il will be back only on the 13th Sept.
  • How did you hear about Weekend Warriors? What are you expecting from us? What can you offer to us?

  • We were looking for weekend guild (my and my 4 mates - balance druid (merfy), warlock (drogonan), rogue (bronadui) and me) coz one of us is a Surgeon and he could only play in a weekend guild (Merfy - Druid presently in your guild) so we were scanning through wowprogress and found u guys. We are aiming to push ourselves as much as we can and we hope u guys would provide us that challenging atmosphere. We are ready to offer anything possible to achieve the goal of the guild by staying committed to the main cause which is ultimately guild progress!
  • What kind of computer, internet connection and ingame latency/framerate you have? (please provide links if possible).

  • My in game latency is about 120ms and 60fps. I have a 20 Mbps connection. i5 3.5ghz, 8GBRAM, Nvidia GTX 970.
  • The following questions are provided by our members and used by us as a maturity/sense of humour check. Please read them carefully and try to give your answer some thought as your answers will give us the best guide to your 'fit' with our community.

If you were an orc, what would you be and why?

  • City planner, coz Orgimmar after 10 years+ still looks shitty and cheap.
  • Whats the perfect time of day and why?

  • The Wow weekly reset time, suddenly i got a purpose to live another week.
  • Please name one thing you LIKE most about WoW and one thing you particularly DISLIKE and why.

  • I love getting the same item (in the slot where i have the BiS gear) every week when i open the hard earned weekly chest week after week. I dislike expansion launches where u quest gets bugged and u just decided to restart wow and u sit in a 1 hour wait in a queue to the server!!!

Hi Maha and thanks for the application. What happens now is we put a link to this app in the member's section so members can discuss it and bring any questions they have to you. Normally expect an answer on a raid team application within 72 hours. Please check back from time to time in case there are any questions that need answering as this will help speed the process. Thanks. Chi

Hi Maha Time for a question or two. First off, you mention toon swapping and a desire to avoid this this tier but I want to be 100% clear, here we do not allow re-rolls by our progress raiders, you only get to do it if we ask you to or at least agree to the change for roster balance purposes. On a second point, the question of your other friends looking for a raiding spot, as this included Merfy who has been with us for a few weeks now and you I guess this leaves us with a warlock and rogue application still to come? I want to be honest here, it's quite unlikely we'll be able to accommodate all of you at this stage and even then we can only assess each application individually so prefer to process package deals all at the same time as if we can't or don't want to offer you all a spot, it's best to decline you all as eventually most split groups end up leaving to play together anyway, if those accepted whilst their friends were declined even join in the first place. So, I'd ask you how important staying together as a group is and if it is then please get your friends to apply asap and we'll look at the apps as a package deal and decided all in or all out. At the end of the day it's easier for us to replace one player now than two or three down the line when they jump ship to play together in the future. Thanks and look forward to hearing from you soon.

Thanks for the responses. We have received the application from your rogue friend, I take it your warlock friend hasn't applied yet? Apologies if this is taking longer than normal. It's partly a case of new expansion, people on holiday and also of course the trying to figure out how we can fit more people into a roster that is basically in "exceptional player" territory. We'll try and get things sorted for you by tomorrow at the latest.

Hello again. As we've not heard from you again, can you please confirm if you'll be joining us and when? If I don't hear back from you in the next 24 hours then I'll assume you're no longer coming over and reopen recruitment. Thanks Scabb

As u had seen my application i was planning to play SV/BM. But primarily was looking to play SV and just fill the gaps if the guild needed with BM. Im perfectly fine playing BM but just that i prefer playing melee as primary and swap to (MM/BM) last expac only to fill in the role required. If there is a chance that i can main SV and play BM on the side it would be nice. When i checked the roster of the guild too, i noticed u guys are super full on melee and i might never get a chance to play melee in there at least in the foreseeable future. ATTN : We would love to join the guild as we really loved the organisation and all the effort u have put the website and your correspondence with us and also the input we got from Merfy, if not this time at least when u guys are looking for 2 melee roles as main. I was considering to main BM just to join WW, but on trying it out and also how much im enjoying SV i really wouldn’t want to move to BM full time. Sorry that we took your time, also this long passage, but we have to make it a point to show how much we wanted to join the guild, coz we are really attracted to the opportunity in playing with u guys, but it wouldn’t be right to play something as main role (ranged) in progress runs, which i just pick up to fill up the ”necessary requirement”. Sorry again to bring this up at this point of time in application phase to a guild of such high stature.

That's a real shame. Unfortunately there is simply no way we can currently fit in double melee, we really made room for your hunter as BM so we could have a second rogue more than actually needing a third hunter. Melee spots are unfortunately popular, people that play melee seldom - and they're basically limited to below parity with ranged in most raiding scenarios. This makes it very unusual to have many vacancies come up in melee, indeed all our melee roster bar Bronadui and a DK would have been rollovers from Legion. For now we'll go ahead and pass and if things change in the future please feel free to re-apply. All the best and thanks for getting back to us. Scabb
