Prot, Warrior – Flex/Social – Accepted

What sort of membership are you applying for?

  • Flex/Social
  • What characters are you applying with? Please link from armory, wowprogress or some other site, in order of importance to you. Include also your main character if you are applying with an alt.

  • 1. Jehuti-Draenor 2. Aghorii-Draenor (Alt lowbie Shaman - Ele/Resto) I used to main a DH and then an Unholy DK (both alliance) till sometime ago. But since I took a break from raiding, I have been levelling many alts. I recently levelled a warrior (Jehuti) on Draenor and would like to treat it as my current main.

  • Why did you choose the class/spec you’re applying with and what kinds of content have you played on it so far? What experience you have playing other specs of your class?

  • I have always liked the idea of a tank. The warrior was FOTM when I levelled it. The insane damage along with survivability attracted me towards levelling a warrior tank. Experience: 4/9 heroic and M+ experience mostly with Jehuti. Have tanked +9s and DPSed a +10 so far with it (however, I have timed +12s with my Unholy DK and have BoD AOTC on Paladin and Priest characters). I have similar (+9) tanking experience on Paladin, DH, DK and Monk tanks as well. I really like Arms a lot but am trying to learn Fury currently as it seems to be the better DPS spec of the two.
  • Tell us about your history in WoW. Previous realms, guilds, best achievements, favourite mounts and anything else you want to add.

  • Current status: AOTC Uldir and AOTC BoD. Current main on Horde Draenor in "D A W N" Immediate previous (past 6 months) experience: Core Raider with guild called Dawnbreakers on Auchindoun. Got 5/8 Mythic Uldir experience after which I chose to become a "Social" due to weekday raid schedule issues. Guild broke up and I followed some friends to Ravencrest to join Dawnbreakers. Got AOTC BoD while with Dawnbreakers. However my friends stopped playing and I started looking for a new home which led me to level a new character (Jehuti) Horde-side on Draenor. Sadly the guild I am part of now is extremely inactive. Favourite Mount - Functionality-wise: Water Strider and Sky Golem; Looks-wise: Grinning Reaver Historic info: Got into WoW when TBC launched. Eventually got into a raiding guild called 'Shut up and Pull' on Shu'Halo US server and raided for almost a year. I had to quit while we were trying to down Illidan in Black Temple due to time zone issues (I am from India). I resubbed in 2016 when Legion launched and finally pugged my way to AOTC ToS. I then quit again and started afresh on EU servers - First on Auchindoun alli then Ravencrest alli and finally Draenor horde, where I thought I found a guild that was active during my time zone, but we never have anyone online)
  • Who are you outside WoW? Please make sure to include things like the name your friends call you, your age, where do you live, what do you do when not playing WoW, family situation and anything else you’d like to add here that would affect your ability to play with Weekend Warriors in the coming months.

  • I'm a 34 year old male of Indian origin. I live in India with my wife and pet dog. My friends call me Rohan and people in-game refer to me as Jehuti. When not playing, I like to cycle a bit (picked up the hobby recently). I usually am active around 1630hrs - 1900 hrs on weekdays and 1600 - 23:00 or later with a break or 2 in between. I am also found online in the mornings if convenient for me.
  • How did you hear about Weekend Warriors? What are you expecting from us? What can you offer to us?

  • I became aware of Weekend Warriors while looking for a guild that is active during on Draenor during weekends as well. When I looked further into the guild, the website and the way you manage your raid roster impressed me. I expect to be part of a guild that does M+s fairly often and is active on discord. The flex/social raids on Fridays are a huge bonus since I can usually commit to them on Fridays evenings.
  • What kind of computer, internet connection and ingame latency/framerate you have? (please provide links if possible).

  • I run the game comfortably in all scenarios (raids/pvp/m+/general questing) at a "7" level. Never had a reason to downgrade graphics below 7. I have a latency of 150 on good days and 200 on bad ones. However, I am quite accustomed to this latency and am not bothered by it much since the latency is constant and does not spike.
  • The following questions are provided by our members and used by us as a maturity/sense of humour check. Please read them carefully and try to give your answer some thought as your answers will give us the best guide to your 'fit' with our community.

If you were an orc, what would you be and why?

  • Unholy DK since they have bonus to pet damage, huge plate shoulders is fun and they fit the class fantasy of being intimidating beings
  • Whats the perfect time of day and why?

  • Whenever there are enough willing people online to go, do a m+/raid/pvp together (in that order)
  • Please name one thing you LIKE most about WoW and one thing you particularly DISLIKE and why.

  • Like: It provides many options for cooperative gameplay. e.g. I especially like the collective focus needed during higher m+ runs. Dislike: Dazar'Alor as an adventurers' hub - It has the most horrible layout I have ever seen.

Hello Rohan and thanks for the application. What happens now is we put a link to this app in the member's section so members can discuss it and bring any questions they have to you. Normally expect an answer on a social/flex application within 48 hours. Please check back from time to time in case there are any questions that need answering as this will help speed the process. Thanks. Athiyk
Thank you for the update. I’ll be happy to answer any question by the members 😀
