  • Tell us about your history in WoW. Previous realms, guilds, best achievements, favourite mounts and anything else you want to add.

  • Oof, pretty long one, I'll start with a tiny summary and put the details down below. I guess I'll skip the past and focus on the most recent, my memory has been quite foggy, I'm getting old FAST. In a nutshell though, fairly consistent mythic progression and clears in the previous expansions. Some very high ranks in m+ Legion and I'm picking it back up now in BFA. I remember having to quit WoW at the later stages of Uldir with you guys. After moving to Canada and having to work the time difference just made it impossible. I started playing WoW again 2 months ago on the US realms but I don't enjoy the US realms too much and I miss all my character achievements. DETAILS: Classic WoW: Cleared it all, but I never entered Naxxrammas. I was in a guild called Discordia Deceived on SkullCrusher. The Burning Crusade: I was in a guild called Nox-Eternum on Azjol-Nerub. We spent like 3 months in Karazhan, until I got promoted to a raidleader and within a month we cleared Karazhan/Gruul. I left them after that as they weren't progressing as much as I wished for. Good bunch of people though. I then moved to Raging Nemesis on Sylvanas where I cleared TBC content with them. I quit WoW after that for a while to focus on my studies and came back after the release of Wotlk. Wrath of the Lich King: I can't remember the name of the guild here nor the realm, I think the realm was Twilight's Hammer and the guild was Remember The Name or The Council. We cleared Naxx/Ulduar/ICC together, was a really friendly and relaxed environment. We only attempted ICC HardModes, we killed them all on Hardmode except for Professor, Sindragosa, and the Lich King. Cataclysm: I had quit WoW before the end of Wotlk to focus on my studies again, and I came back after Cataclysm was launched. I joined a guild called Trolling Paladin Forums on Emerald Dream. Very nice and casual bunch. We cleared all the normal content together but we didn't do any serious heroics; I was also a raid-leader here during Firelands. Unfortunately the guild disbanded in early MoP due to lack of recruits on a low populated realm. Mists of Pandaria: 11 IRL friends and I started a guild, but it was going nowhere as everyone was slacking thinking it is alright since we are all friends. So I decided to leave and joined "The Beauties" on Twisting Nether. I consider myself lucky to have joined The Beauties. I applied as a Fury warrior with ilvl 483 while they were progressing on Heroic modes in HoF. Ironically, I rarely raided as Fury hehe. On my first raid I was Protection and we killed Blade Lord on Heroic, my ilvl was 483 as well in prot. Before the end of the patch we had 5/6 HC MSV and 3/6 HC HoF. Come ToT, we had 1/13HC down in the 3rd or 4th week I can't remember. But there has been a lot of drama going on since our HC progress in MSV/HoF. Some people had enough of it while progressing on Ji-kun HC and Horridon HC so they left, 2 of them were our best healers and officers. I got promoted to Raidleader/Officer and kept the guild together with the GM and another officer. We were the only ones preparing tactics for all boss fights and even discussing them together on forums/skype while at work xD. It all finally fell apart after our new recruits just weren't good enough, some people couldn't take it anymore and everyone just moved on to different guilds. I am still in-touch with 3 players from the beauties as I have a very good relationship with them, mostly because we were doing all the organizing and coordination of the raids. I joined Genesis after The-Beauties. They're a nice community that has been on for a long time. It is my first 25-man guild since TBC though! I left Genesis after a few raids with them, I didn't feel very welcome, and I was 3rd choice tank. Also the atmosphere during their raids did not suit me very much. I joined Offspring at that point and enjoyed some of my favorite raiding times with them. I was the 2nd tank as I sometimes used to go Fury spec in raids when we needed only 1 tank. I was also involved in planning tactics and strategies in ToT heroic with other members. We cleared ToT heroic and got server 2nd world 198th, this was back in our old realm Outland. I had to quit WoW after we cleared ToT heroic because of my work. I had to travel overseas since mid 2013 to the far east. In early WoD I started raiding again with offspring, but overtime some of us wanted to raid more than 3days per week so that we progress even more, some of us were not able to do that and thus we decided it was best to let the people who want to progress join better guilds, and so they did, many of them moving on to Malorum, our mage, Ithax moved to a top world 30 guild as well if I recall right. Our DK is currently in a world 28 guild. We all still have our alts in offspring and talk from time to time, we also have all our battletags and play other games like Heroes of the storm together. Anyways after the guild broke up, I stopped playing WoW because I wanted a small break, and WoD wasn't much fun anyways to be honest, or I guess it was but maybe I was just sad I couldn't raid with offspring anymore. I joined Iron-Edge at the start of Legion and spent all of Legion with them, towards the end I had to move to Canada and their raid times became difficult that is when Elanqar suggested Weekend Warriors. I joined you guys and then work came in the way, but now I'm free from the shackles of life.
  • Who are you outside WoW? Please make sure to include things like the name your friends call you, your age, where do you live, what do you do when not playing WoW, family situation and anything else you’d like to add here that would affect your ability to play with Weekend Warriors in the coming months.

  • Right now I'm working from home for a wholesale tea business that is going online retail. I am also working on my own online business. Lots of time spent at home.
  • How did you hear about Weekend Warriors? What are you expecting from us? What can you offer to us?

  • I was a former member referred to by Elanqar. I expect much of the same in the old raids, good banter, good progression. I can offer reliable dps, although right now my character is behind but I will need a maximum of 3 weeks to become mythic raid ready. It only took me 5 weeks to go from a level 110 DH to 5/12M and 2.8k IO score on US realms, should take much shorter this time round 🙂
  • What kind of computer, internet connection and ingame latency/framerate you have? (please provide links if possible).

  • I7 1050TI 8gb Ram 250gb SSD 300mbps internet, EU latency is around 120m/s
  • The following questions are provided by our members and used by us as a maturity/sense of humour check. Please read them carefully and try to give your answer some thought as your answers will give us the best guide to your 'fit' with our community.

If you were an orc, what would you be and why?

  • A green orc, because hulk smash.
  • Whats the perfect time of day and why?

  • I'm getting old now, meal time and sleep time is perfect, sometimes sexy time.
  • Please name one thing you LIKE most about WoW and one thing you particularly DISLIKE and why.

  • I like the challenges, because I'm a fucking elitist. I hate server issues, because whats worse than dying on a high m+ key due to server issues?
  • Please provide your Discord tag here.....

HI, Please can you reply and tell us your age? Thanks Viix
Hello, Can't believe I forgot to mention that. I'm 29 years old now.
No problem at all :) What happens now is we put a link to this app in the member's section so members can discuss it and bring any questions they have to you. Normally expect an answer on a raid team application within 72 hours. Please check back from time to time in case there are any questions that need answering as this will help speed the process. Thanks Viix
I just realised I didn't post my EU char's profile and posted my US profile instead.
Hey Kenszan, good to hear from you again, glad life is treating you well. Normally we wouldn't consider a progress application until the player is raid ready and you're still a little way off that cloak and neck wise. However, as we know you of old and have a a regular DH raiding each week currently we're able to waive that general rule and hold a spot open for you for a short time whilst you get yourself ready. Obviously, it's a time limited offer, you'd need to be ready in a few weeks at most but we trust in it being in your interest to get this done. So, for now we'd take you on as a social and once you've hit max cloak and 80+ neck and some higher gearing we can bring you into the roster. I trust this is acceptable to you?
Sounds very good to me. Thanks Scabbrox. My neck is level 80 now, cloak is at rank 5 and ilvl 456. It won't be long, probably 1 week at this rate.
Hello Thanks for your patience. I'm happy to say we've decided to offer you trial Social membership of Weekend Warriors, as per the conditions set out by Scabb. Please poke someone when next online and ready for an invite to the guild. Welcome aboard, Viix!
