      MOTHER

       

      • Single phase fight with three linked narrow rectangular rooms.
      • Tanks get front cone hits so turn away from raid, switch after 2-3 stacks
      • Fire thingy (exactly like volcanic in M+) spawns under everybody every x seconds, just run out of it. Loose grouping to have room between fires to move to.
      • Wind pushes alternatively either left or right (starting from random side) towards open pit of fire every x seconds. Stand in middle-ish of the room and be prepared to run towards it to prevent falling into pit and dying. Can overlap with volcanoes.
      • Second and third room have walls of laser beams (like endboss of Vault of Wardens) every x seconds that will instantly kill if touched. This can overlap with wind and everything else. Heroic only in second room.
      • It might be possible to kill this in second room if DPS is high enough. In that case it makes things easier without second crossing of the barrier.

       

      Gimmick of the fight is you can stay in the room for a maximum of 3 minutes before everybody inside dies. Default UI has a bar that tracks the timer.

       

      Moving into next room causes few important things.

      1. Crossing over to next room puts stacking dot on whole raid for each person who crosses the line, just like Sisters of Moon in Tomb of Soaking, therefore a small controlled number of people need to cross after debuff drops.
      2. Barrier between rooms blocks LOS from healing and damaging effects
      3. An add that needs to be tanked will spawn in the new room for each person who crossed over.

       

      Fatboss recommended way is having first three players crossing over, a tank and 2 strong AOE dps to handle the adds. After that every time debuff drops have 2(-3) people join in, with deeps and healers mixed. Boss tank and 1-2 healers last. When boss crosses over the countdown for second room purge starts counting. Group should start crossing over as late as possible, but it might depend on group size what is the energy of the “room” where people must start moving latest to allow all debuffs to drop.

        Mythic changes

        Walking through Defense Grid will spawn different adds based on the raid role

        • DPS will continue spawning same Remnant of Corruption that exists in lower difficulties
        • Tanks will spawn Resistant Bacterium gives stacking dot and stacking damage buff to other adds. First priority target. Maybe CC’able.
        • Healers spawn Viral Contagion that casts dispellable dot on random targets that explode and spread dots on nearby people when it expires or is dispelled. Target of the dot needs to move out of group and then be dispelled safely.

         

        Laser beams that sweep the third room will start already in second room, and there’s two walls of beams going in different directions (think of last boss in Vault of Wardens).
