Garothi Worldbreaker
Heroic
Square room, about the size of KJ’s platform with boss static in the middle of one side. Pretty similar to Fallen Avatar’s first phase without the add. Melee stand in one group and ranged loosely stacked in another group at max range.
Phases
Phase 1 100%-65%
- Fel Bombardment (tank)
- Decimation (raid)
- Annihilation (raid)
Intermission
- Apocalypse Drive (raid)
- Eradication (raid)
Phase 2 65%-35%
- Fel Bombardment (tank)
- Decimation (raid)
Intermission
- Apocalypse Drive (raid)
- Eradication (raid)
Phase 3 35%-0
- Fel Bombardment (tank)
Fel Bombardment is a short duration debuff on tank which causes crap to fall from sky on current tank. Five AOE explosions one second apart that deal damage and knockback within 7y range. When debuff lands taunt swap and start running towards left side of the room which should be empty. There’s few seconds between debuff and first explosion landing and you need to be far enough from curernt tank already. Do a U turn with explosions three moving forward and two on your way back to boss just before the bombardment ends. Swaps happen back to back – no chance of tanks helping with soaks.
Decimation debuffs few random non-tanks which after few seconds spawns big green circle marking explosion under you. Move out of the raid towards right and/or back side of the room immediately when you get the debuff to safe zone. Whole raid takes small amount of fire damage regardless when decimation goes off. Decimation will not happen in last phase of the heroic mode. (Alternate way to handle this is have all raid tightly stacked in melee with 2 markers 20y apart. When Decimation rains on the group move as one group between the markers. We will not do this unless it turns out to be significantly easier to handle than people moving to the right on their own.)
Annihilation does a small number of green glowing circles in random locations that need to be soaked by about two-ish people each for medium amount of fire damage. Unsoaked circles do the damage to whole raid. There seems to be one near melee and 2 further back. Same mechanic as every other boss in ToS, striking similarity to Fallen Avatar’s Touch of Sargeras, including graphics. Annihilation will not happen in phases 2 and 3 of the heroic mode.
Apocalypse Drive is long channel during intermission phases. Boss is untargetable but instead two weapons (Decimator and Annihilator) are targetable and you must kill one before Apocalypse Drive is finished or it’s instant wipe. During Apocalypse Drive boss will cast straight beams that sweep either left, right or middle of the platform (kinda like the bridge boss in NH). If you kill Decimator first the Annihilation gets empowered which means more circles to soak, and killing Annihilator first causes Decimation (big circles you move out of raid) to happen to more people which is easier to handle so we kill Annihilator first and get empowered Decimation ability. When Apocalypse Drive starts whole raid gets blasted with 4M fire damage (ONLY IN HEROIC MODE).
Eradication which is big aoe blast and the amount of physical damage depends on distance from boss happens once Apocalypse Drive is over. Whole raid runs to back of the room and slap some damage prevention/healing cooldown. Boss damage increases by 20% for rest of the fight. It might be necessary to leave one tank on boss with big cooldown to prevent raid damage from boss being untanked but it’s uncertain at the moment. Saw a mythic PTR video where tank just used movement speed buff to get back to boss after Eradication from the back of the room and it was totally fine.
After we kill Decimator in second intermission the fight turns into tank & spank with constant damage to whole raid and zero movement except for tanks while boss damage goes to +40%.

Mythic changes
Intermission phase has two notable changes
- Fire damage blast at the start of Apocalypse Drive is doubled. This will require big damage prevention cooldown to keep raid alive.
- During Eradication cast Luring Destruction tries to pull whole raid towards boss and deal damage at the same time. Movement speed buff is necessary to survive this.
Destroying weapons during Apocalypse Drive does not take those out of the fight permanently, just changes the abilities into stronger versions.
- Haywire Annihilator throws two sets of soak circles back to back.
- Haywire Decimator stuns the targets of the missile bombardment which means they can’t move out of the raid, instead raid will have to move away from the targets. In addition raid will take extra damage for 10 seconds after it lands.
How to handle the boss:
- We have two groups, one for max melee range and one for max ranged and people stack on those. Both in the middle line of the room more or less. Raid is split into four groups, two melee and two ranged to handle the left and right side of the room.
- When you get decimator you move right and drop it, and two people need to soak all circles.
- In second phase Decimator stuns all who are targeted for a few seconds. Rest of the raid can move out already ahead of time but those stunned need to follow later. We will use whatever speed buffs are available but there needs to be one for each intermission phase for the Luring Destruction.
- In third phase all small circles need to be soaked twice by two people. Once it explodes you’ll be knocked out of it and must run back into the same circle fast to soak it again.
