  • Why did you choose the class/spec you’re applying with and what kinds of content have you played on it so far? What experience you have playing other specs of your class?

  • Dear All, Having played various hybrid classes with various specs has left me somewhat emotionally attached to this kind of play style. Wherever I have raided I have played a hybrid class - and the raid can always count on me to heal, tank but mostly dps as needed. In the list of classes I am proficient at a high level in I would include: - Monk (Tank/Heal/Dps) - Druid (Balance/ Heal) - Priest (Shadow/ Disc) - Shaman (Ele/ Resto) - Paladin (Ret/ Holy/ Prot) After having played all of these classes simultaneously for a long time, I am not having to settle on 2 - due to time restrictions. One will be my monk, however the other I am not too sure on yet. To give you a bit of background, I cleared Siege of Orgrimmar in cutting edge (10 & 25 man at the time) on priest, shaman, hunter and druid. Yes I played a lot haha. I also attained all challenge mode sets and boosted players both in WoD & MoP on my druid, paladin, shaman, and monk. Whatever class I play, I always do my best to min/max at every level. The fun in this game for me comes from analyzing, improving and achieving something as a team.
  • Tell us about your history in WoW. Previous realms, guilds, best achievements, favourite mounts and anything else you want to add.

  • Hello Friends, First off, let me say the website looks fantastic. Let me start with a bit of background about myself. I started playing WoW in ToT (Throne of Thunder) in MoP - where I only cleared about half the raid in mythic. The next tier however, I was determined (at this point I raided for a semi-hardcore german guild named "hype-blackmoore" we were about world rank 650.) We cleared SoO cutting edge in both 10 and 25 man, and I joined a guild named "hope and despair-blackmoore" who was at the time a top 200 guild. (I believe now they are much higher). With them I cleared the WoD raids (Highmaul, BrF, and HFC all Cutting edge (with my most notable achievement being world 45 Archimonde kill). As you can see in my shadow priests logs, at the time I was ranked world 32 shadow priest. In Legion, I took a break from the game to focus on my real life. I came back towards the end of the expansion, clearing Antorus 11/11MM on my balance druid. Another notable achievement I would like to share with you was that during WoD I was able to achieve realm best times on Blackmoore for challenge mode- UBRS and a few others. During my time in WoD & Legion I also wrote a blog on Howtopriest About shadow priest and balance druid theory crafting - I was a highly committed player. I hope to bring some of this commitment to your raid, and do my best to aid you in your community & achievements, albeit with a little less time intensity. P.S. Of course my favorite mount is invincible, although even after 650 LK kills it still hasn't dropped for me!!! 😛
  • Who are you outside WoW? Please make sure to include things like the name your friends call you, your age, where do you live, what do you do when not playing WoW, family situation and anything else you’d like to add here that would affect your ability to play with Weekend Warriors in the coming months.

  • I am a 25 year old guy from Germany, However I was raised in the United States for a large portion of my youth, and English is basically my first language. My name is Fabian, yet my friends often refer to me as "Fabi" and in wow as "Chip" Deriving from my first character, chipmunk. I am a hardworking, yet easy going guy. In my spare time I like to play wow, (used to play league of legends) and I do a lot of kickboxing. I love to have a good beer, and enjoy some wow on the weekends, and the evenings - which is why I am looking for a community to join! I also watch a lot of TV shows, like stranger things, the office and vikings.
  • How did you hear about Weekend Warriors? What are you expecting from us? What can you offer to us?

  • Due to work I am slightly time restricted during the week, which is why I have searched long and hard for a guild that can fulfill my urge to progress, as well as has the raid times I can commit too 100%. It has not been easy to find you guys, and taken me quite a few weeks, so I hope you really consider my application haha. I'm joking of course, but the truth is it has not been easy to find a guild fitting my requirements.
  • What kind of computer, internet connection and ingame latency/framerate you have? (please provide links if possible).

  • Of course, just like many of you I can assume, I am a bit of a PC nerd. I build my own Pc's and deck them out with the best specs. Ingame I have 20ms always, and the best internet money can buy. GTX 1080ti, Intel i7 8700k, Acerpredator monitors, the whole setup.
  • The following questions are provided by our members and used by us as a maturity/sense of humour check. Please read them carefully and try to give your answer some thought as your answers will give us the best guide to your 'fit' with our community.

If you were an orc, what would you be and why?

  • I would be a peon like the ones in durotar because of all the pleb work I get to do at my job, but I just sleep instead. (me not be that kind of orc- zug zug)
  • Whats the perfect time of day and why?

  • 5 30! Time to hop on the train home, grab a beer and play some wow!!
  • Please name one thing you LIKE most about WoW and one thing you particularly DISLIKE and why.

  • Oh wow this is a loaded question haha.. I absolutely LOVE the competitive aspect of the game, whilst still maintaining a community. I played league of legends A LOT for a little while. The competitive is cool, but the community isn't there. WoW has both. Wow is what you want it to be. You can play it casually, you can go crazy and theorycraft. I really dislike titanforging & personal loot. I loved lootmaster because the TEAM gets to choose who gets what.

Hi Fabian and thanks for the application. What happens now is we put a link to this app in the member's section so members can discuss it and bring any questions they have to you. Normally expect an answer on a raid team application within 72 hours. Please check back from time to time in case there are any questions that need answering as this will help speed the process. Thanks. Scabb
Sounds good, I look forward to hearing from you. Fabian
One thing I forgot in the personal information section in case anyone cares haha: I work as a financial analyst for a pharmaceutical company :).
Hello Fabian and thanks for your patience. I'm happy to say we've decided to offer you trial membership of Weekend Warriors and its progress raiding team. Please poke someone when next online and ready for an invite to the guild. Welcome aboard!
Hey Athiyk thank for the response, I'll transfer over as soon as I am home. In the meantime, is there a discord I am able to join already?
